Search and Link wizards are ORCID's recommended way to populate your record. Wizards make adding works easy, ensure you are getting data about the work directly from the source so it is accurate, and allow the addition of contributor information, which is not possible via other methods.

Click here for the list of supported search and link wizards.

1. Choose the platform eg. ResearcherID or Scopus, which you want to use to import your works.

2. Add ‘Crossref Metadata Search’ (to your list of selected 'Search & link' wizards) for publications and scholarly works which have DOI but are not captured in your chosen platform eg. ResearcherID or Scopus.

3. Add ‘DataCite’ (to your list of selected 'Search & link' wizards) for your published research data with DOIs since they won’t be captured in other platforms eg. ResearcherID or Scopus.

Refer to  this link for the steps on how to use the search and link wizard function.
