You can access your existing account by signing in at the ORCID Sign-in Page using your 16-digit ORCID iD and password as the username. Do not create a new record.

If you have forgotten your password or iD, use the following steps to regain access:

  • Use your ORCID iD: Try signing in using your 16-digit ORCID iD (e.g., 0000-0002-1825-0097) and a password you commonly use.

  • Recover your Password: Go to the ORCID Password Reset Page and try triggering a reset using any personal or professional email addresses you have ever used.
  • Contact ORCID Support: If none of your current email addresses or passwords work, reach out directly to the ORCID Support Help Desk for assistance.

  • Once you regain access, add your NTU email address and a personal email address to your profile so you are never locked out again
  • You can access your ORCID record by signing in using the e-mail Id from your previous institution or your ORCID iD as user name and ORCID password.
  • Please add your NTU e-mail address after signing in. You can delete the e-mail id to which you have no longer access.

ORCID recommends registering at least two email addresses to your account; for example, your institutional email address and personal email address. This will enable you to have multiple methods of signing into your ORCID account and ensure that you’re never locked out.
