NTU LibBookmark is a web browser bookmark that allows users to retrieve full text articles or e-books subscribed by NTU Library while surfing the internet. See below on how to add the bookmark to your web browser.

How to Install it?

Follow the steps below to install NTU LibBookmark (Full Text @NTU Library) on your preferred web browser. Once installed, whenever you find yourself on a page that only shows the article abstract or asks for a log in or payment, simply click on the bookmark in your browser and the page will be reloaded with the full text option (if NTU Library subscribes to that journal/book).

Web Browsers Getting started with LibBookmark

 

Safari / Chrome / Firefox / Internet Explorer

  1. Ensure that you have enabled the Bookmarks or Favorites Bar on your browser.
  2. Drag and drop Full Text @NTU Library to your browser's toolbar.

    

Microsoft Edge

  1. Ensure that you have enabled the Favorites Bar on your browser. 
  2. Favorite this page.
  3. Copy the link below, then edit the favorite to change the URL address for the saved bookmark to:

    javascript:void(location.href="https://remotexs.ntu.edu.sg/user/login?dest="+location.href)
     
  4. You can also change the page title to "Full Text @NTU Library" for ease of recognition.
For Mobile Devices - Apple OS
  1. Bookmark this page in your mobile device's browser by clicking on the Star icon if using Chrome Mobile Browser or the Share icon and then Add Bookmark if using Safari Mobile Browser.
  2. Copy the link below, then edit the bookmark to change the URL address for the saved bookmark to:

  3. Tap "Done" to save the bookmark.
  4. When you want to access the full text of an article, tap on the bookmark. You can also search for Full Text @NTU using the address bar and tap on it.
For Mobile Devices - Android OS
  1. Bookmark this page in your mobile device's browser by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right and Star icon if using Chrome Mobile Browser.
  2. Copy the link below, then edit the bookmark to change the URL address for the saved bookmark to:

  3. Tap "Done" to save the bookmark.
  4. When you want to access the full text of an article, search for Full Text @NTU using the address bar and tap on the bookmark.

 

For most desktop browsers, you can drag the link to your browser toolbar as shown below. 

 

How to Use it?

Once you come across a journal article or resource that you would like to read, just click on the bookmark if you haven't done so already for the website and you should have access if the resource is subscribed by NTU Library.
