Q. Can I upload folders, sub-folders, and files to DR-NTU (Data)?

And I still wish to retain the folder structure.

Answer

Yes, you can.

  1. First, arrange your data in a folder structure.

  2. Next, zip the root folder which contains all the sub-folders and files. (use .zip, since .tar and .7z won't work)

  3. Upload this .zip file to DR-NTU (Data). Once uploaded, the .zip file will be unzipped, and you can view the folder structure by clicking the “Tree” button.

  4. If you wish to move a file to a different folder, you can do so by going to the file > Edit Metadata > change the File Path.
