Q. What shall I do if there are duplicate publication entries in my ORCID record?

Answer

The same work can be added to your ORCID record from different sources.

If you have a manually added work, make sure that you have included the DOI. Where duplicate works have a common identifier (such as a DOI, ISBN, etc.), they are automatically grouped together as they represent the same item.

If at least one of the duplicate works has an identifier, they can be combined manually.

If none of the duplicate entries of a work has an identifier, they cannot be combined. For such entries, delete the duplicate.
