You can access country-level economic information through the BMI database. 

To access BMI:

  1. Go to the Library's Collections A-to-Z list
  2. Select "B" from the alphabetical list
  3. Click on 'BMI'
  4. Log in with your NTU username and password, if prompted
  5. On the BMI homepage, navigate to All Geographies > Asia Pacific, then select Service/Industry > Economics.
  6. In the left panel, hover over Geographies > Region (Asia Pacific), and select Country/Territory (Malaysia). You can then browse the relevant information under the available tabs

Statistics can be exported to Microsoft Excel by clicking on 'Downloads'
 

Other databases that provide similar information include CEIC Data, Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), EMIS and Passport.
