Q. What are the responsibilities of principal investigators (PIs)?


Principle investigators (PIs) have overall responsibility for the proper and effective management of research data generated during the research project, including 

  • preparation of a data management plan
  • sharing of final research data on an open access repository 
  • taking care of data sharing rights and agreements
