Not necessarily.

The availability of an API does not automatically mean that Text and Data Mining (TDM) is permitted under NTU's subscription.

Publishers may:

  • Restrict API access to specific subscribers.
  • Require separate registration or approval.
  • Limit the volume of data that can be retrieved.
  • Restrict how retrieved content may be stored, shared, analysed, or reused.
  • Require additional licences for TDM, AI, or machine learning applications.

Researchers should review the provider's terms of use and confirm what activities are permitted before beginning a project.
