EndNote Research Assistant is an AI powered research companion built into EndNote 2025 that helps users review and analyse full text documents in their EndNote libraries.

For each open document, it provides clear “Key Takeaways” to help users quickly assess the paper’s relevance through concise summaries and a related topic list generated directly from the document’s full text or abstract.

Users can also chat with PDFs that contain text to explore content more deeply, as well as translate selected text or entire documents to overcome language barriers and expand their research scope.

EndNote Research Assistant is available only within EndNote 2025 (desktop and web). It works with documents that have full text or machine-readable PDFs attached. Access to EndNote 2025 can be requested via this form
