Q. Where can I add editorial board member, committee member and fellowship positions in my ORDID record ?

Answer

You can add editorial board and committee member positions in the 'Membership and Service' section of your ORCID record.

Fellowship position can be added to the 'Invited positions and Distinctions' section of your ORCID record.

Examples of membership include:

  • Member of an association or society
  • Member of a trade or industry body

Examples of service include:

  • Volunteer society officer
  • Elected board position
  • Standards body member
  • Expert panel member
  • Editorial board member
  • Review editor
  • Study group member
  • Conference organizer
  • Conference panel chair
  • Committee work
  • Project work
  • Extension work

Examples of invited positions include:

  • Honorary fellow
  •  Fellow member
  • Guest researcher
  •  Emeritus professor
