Q. Is access to Financial Times (FT) available?

Access to Financial Times is currently unavailable.

The subscription to FT is actually managed by NBS. They are currently in the process of renewing their FT subscription for FY19. At this point in time, the Library has not been advised yet of the exact date for the restoration of access to FT, that is, until the NBS FT subscription renewal process is completed.

In the meantime, NTU users who have created an FT account via the previous subscription will no longer be considered as a “Premium” user. They will now be termed as “Registered” user with limited access to content.

The following info is provided by FT:

For FT Registered users, they are able to read up to 3 non-premium FT content over a rolling 30 days period. They will still have access to myFT, the Portfolio tool, subscription to non-premium newsletters.

Registered users will no longer have access to:  

  • The Lex Column
  • Due Diligence
  • Market Forces
  • FT Confidential Research
  • EM Squared
  • Free Trade
  • #techFT
  • ePaper
