Q. What do teaching staff need to do to put copyrighted materials in their coursepack?

Provision is made in the Copyright Act to allow multiple copying of a reasonable portion (amount permitted under fair dealing) of a work by educational institutions for educational purposes. Written records of the copying shall be kept. Teaching staff is to check with their respective schools on how these records are maintained.
