Q. How do I export citations from Factiva to EndNote?

You will have to export citations from Factiva database to a text file and import it into EndNote with the use of the Factiva (DJ) Filter. The import function from Factiva database to EndNote works only for IE-browser.

  • Use only IE browser to search and select references from Factiva database and click on "Display Options" on the right hand of the screen to choose “Full Article report plus Indexing”.

  • Click on the disk icon  to choose article format and save your results as a text file(<File Name.txt>)

  • Open Endnote, from the File menu choose Import and select the saved file(<File Name.txt>) and choose the Factiva filter for the import option.

  • The reference will be added to the EndNote library.
